Mental health lecture
Why book this lecture?
In Estonia, suicide is the leading cause of death among young people aged 15–29. Most of those who take their own lives have had a diagnosable mental disorder — which shows how much it matters to notice problems early, recognise them, and know where help is available.
The EAÜS Public Health workgroup has therefore developed an interactive lecture for upper-secondary students and the older years of basic school. The lectures are given by active students who have completed thorough training and are not afraid to talk about the darker sides of mental health.
